Ballantine's Finest John Lennon Edition is a specially designed bottle of Ballantine's Finest, created for Ballantine's True Music Icons collection, featuring John Lennon's official logo, his famous self-portrait drawing and his iconography on the bottle. The whisky inside is the classic 40% ABV Finest blended Scotch blend.
What is the True Music Icons collection?
Part of Ballantine's True Music work supporting music culture, this collection honours artists and bands who not only contribute to music culture but also define it. Alongside John Lennon, the collection also includes editions for Queen, KISS, AC/DC and Gorillaz. Because of its special design, it is chosen both for drinking and for gifting or collecting.
What does it taste like?
The pale gold blend opens on the nose with honey and light spice. On the palate, milk chocolate, red apple and vanilla stand out, offering a balanced and lightly sweet drink.
How should it be served, and what does it pair with?
It can be comfortably enjoyed neat, on the rocks, or with mixers such as cola and soda. It pairs well at gatherings with friends alongside nut platters, barbecued and grilled food.
