Kensington Original Pink Gin

Kensington Original Pink Gin is a 37.5% ABV pink-coloured flavoured gin from Belgian drinks company Sodiko's Kensington brand. It is presented as a fruity, pink interpretation of classic Kensington dry gin, and the producer states it is made with natural flavourings and no added sugar.

What does Kensington Pink Gin taste like?

On the nose, pronounced fruit notes led by raspberry are felt, with a spicy touch of juniper in the background. On the palate, strawberry and raspberry meet vanilla and citrus on a spiced line. The producer describes the taste as lightly sweetish; the medium-length finish is likewise lightly sweet and spiced. Its slightly lower alcohol content than classic gins softens the drink.

How should it be served?

Chilled, it can be drunk neat with plenty of ice; its most common use is a pink gin and tonic made with tonic. Garnishing with a few fresh strawberries or raspberries brings out its fruity character. It can also be used as a base in fruity cocktails.
