Jim Beam Honey is a 32.5% ABV honey bourbon liqueur, made by blending real honey liqueur with Jim Beam bourbon whiskey. It is produced by James B. Beam Distilling Co., part of the Suntory Global Spirits group.

What kind of drink is Jim Beam Honey?

The producer states that the sweetness of golden honey stands out without masking the bourbon's soft, mature character; the result is a relaxed sweetness suited to neat drinking but also expressive in cocktails. Suntory's Japanese product page also describes the product as a bourbon-based honey liqueur.

What does it taste like?

Sweet, woody notes and a light vanilla are felt on the nose; Master of Malt adds caramel and mead. The palate has a syrupy consistency; floral honey notes combine with bourbon warmth. The finish is short but full, carrying acacia honey and caramel.

How should it be served, and what does it pair with?

It is served on the rocks, extended with ginger ale, or with apple juice and soda. It pairs well with fruit and chocolate desserts and nuts. It can also be presented chilled in small glasses. When the honey sweetness is balanced by the lemon's tartness, the result is a more refreshing drink.
