Istanblue is a vodka produced in Turkey by Mey|Diageo. It is one of the vodka brands Diageo Turkey produces domestically, alongside Smirnoff, Binboa and Bazooka.
Who produces Istanblue?
Producer Mey|Diageo is the current name of Mey, established after the privatisation of TEKEL in 2004 and one of the largest companies in Turkey's spirits sector. The company has been part of the British Diageo group since 2011; it is headquartered in Istanbul and operates factories in several Turkish provinces. Istanblue is one of the brands in this domestic production portfolio's vodka category, sold in various bottle sizes.
How is vodka produced?
According to Diageo Turkey, vodka is most commonly produced from grains such as rye, wheat and barley, and is legally required to be distilled to at least 95–96% ABV; this high strength can only be achieved with a continuous distillation system.
How is it served?
It can be drunk well chilled, neat, over ice, or used in cocktails. It forms a suitable base for long drinks such as vodka and tonic, vodka and soda, and vodka with fruit juice.
What does Istanblue pair with?
Served cold, the vodka forms a classic match with meze platters, smoked fish and seafood, and salted nuts.

- Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
- Keep wine bottles on their side and spirits upright.
- Serve white/rosé and sparkling wine at 6–12°C, and reds at 16–18°C.
- Keep opened bottles closed; drink wine within a few days of opening.
