Zernoff Original is a 40% ABV grain vodka produced by Zernoff Beverages, a leading Moldovan vodka producer. Zernoff is a production complex that carries out the entire process, from growing grain on its own fields to producing alcohol and bottling, at a single facility. Original's distinguishing feature is a method called "Zernoff Five Grains": production uses an infusion prepared from five different malted grains, oats, barley, rice, wheat and rye.
What kind of vodka is Zernoff Original?
According to the producer, the five-grain infusion is added to the recipe to enrich the vodka's sensory qualities. Zernoff Original has won silver medals at international competitions such as the USA Spirits Ratings and London Spirits Competition. The brand also won a gold medal at the China Wine & Spirits Awards in 2025.
How is it served?
As with plain vodkas, it can be drunk well chilled in small glasses. It can also be used in long drinks made with fruit juices, tonic or soda, and in classic vodka cocktails.
What food does it pair with?
On Moldovan and Eastern European tables, vodka is drunk alongside pickles, cold cuts, cheeses and fish meze. Meze platters and salted or smoked fish are classic matches.

- Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
- Keep wine bottles on their side and spirits upright.
- Serve white/rosé and sparkling wine at 6–12°C, and reds at 16–18°C.
- Keep opened bottles closed; drink wine within a few days of opening.
