Hendrick's Neptunia is a 43.4% ABV limited-edition Hendrick's gin distilled at William Grant & Sons' Girvan site in Scotland. It comes from master distiller Lesley Gracie's "Cabinet of Curiosities" series and is inspired by the Ayrshire coast in south-west Scotland. Coastal botanicals such as seaweed and sea thyme have been added to Hendrick's familiar rose and cucumber base.
What does Hendrick's Neptunia taste like?
Juniper is measured on both nose and palate; fresh citrus and coastal botanicals lead. Cucumber's cooling effect is retained. The finish is long and mouth-watering: light floral notes, grapefruit peel, eucalyptus and white pepper are felt together with a fine saltiness. This salty touch is what most clearly sets this gin apart from classic Hendrick's.
How should it be served?
The bottle label suggests a gin and soda; it can be made in a tall glass full of ice with soda and a lemon or lime peel. A classic gin and tonic made with tonic also brings out the coastal notes.
Which dishes does it pair with?
Its coastal, salty character particularly suits fish and seafood, sushi and light lemon-dressed salads.

- Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
- Keep wine bottles on their side and spirits upright.
- Serve white/rosé and sparkling wine at 6–12°C, and reds at 16–18°C.
- Keep opened bottles closed; drink wine within a few days of opening.
