Glenmorangie The Infinita 18 Year Old is an 18-year-old, 43% ABV single malt Scotch whisky produced by the Glenmorangie Distillery in the Highlands. The brand's long-established 18-year-old whisky carries the new name "The Infinita" in its latest identity.
What does the name The Infinita convey?
The name comes from the idea of infinity: it describes the effort of Dr Bill Lumsden, Glenmorangie's director of whisky creation, to bring together the wide range of aromas in the distillery's warehouses into a single whisky. The aim is for a different flavour to stand out with each sip; the long maturation gives the whisky a layered, mature structure.
What does Glenmorangie 18 Year Old taste like?
The nose shows lemongrass, orange chocolate and jasmine tea; dried fig, marmalade and honeycomb round it out. The palate combines honey notes with caramelised orange; a warm figgy richness and orange marmalade follow jasmine and orange blossom. A light campfire smoke appears in the background.
How should it be served, and what does it pair with?
The producer highlights neat drinking; quality ice or a few drops of water open up new aromas, and it can also be used in an Old Fashioned cocktail. It is a good after-dinner choice alongside mature cheeses, nuts and dark chocolate desserts.

- Keep wine bottles on their side and spirits upright.
- Serve white/rosé and sparkling wine at 6–12°C, and reds at 16–18°C.
- Keep opened bottles closed; drink wine within a few days of opening.
