Tuborg Gold

Tuborg Gold is a 5% ABV pale lager beer produced by Türk Tuborg at its İzmir plant. It is one of the best-known beers in Turkey from the Danish-origin Tuborg brand. Türk Tuborg has brewed beer since 1969 at its İzmir plant, whose foundations were laid in 1967; this facility is Turkey's first private-sector beer plant. The company works with international partners, most notably Carlsberg.

What kind of beer is Tuborg Gold?

Tuborg Gold is positioned as a golden-coloured, refreshing, easy-drinking lager. In this bottom-fermented style, malt and hops are balanced; the drink is clean and crisp. Türk Tuborg states that it documents its quality standards with German Purity Law certifications.

How should it be served?

It is recommended to serve it chilled to around 4–6 °C. Pouring at a slight angle into the glass and leaving a two-finger head of foam preserves the carbonation and aroma.

What does Tuborg Gold pair well with?

As an everyday beer it accompanies many dishes. Barbecue and grilled meats, nuts and snacks, and pizza and pasta are classic pairings. It also creates a refreshing balance alongside lightly spiced dishes.
