Tamnavulin Double Cask is a 40% ABV single malt Scotch whisky from Speyside, produced at the Tamnavulin Distillery, owned by Whyte & Mackay. The producer presents this bottling as an introduction to the distillery's sweet, soft, fruity Speyside style.
Why "Double Cask"?
Like all Tamnavulin whiskies, it begins its life in American ex-bourbon casks, a stage that adds softness to the fruity spirit. The whisky is then finished by being transferred to casks that previously held sherry when the time comes. The combination of the two casks adds a creamy toffee and orange marmalade depth to the freshness of orchard fruit.
What does Tamnavulin Double Cask taste like?
The nose combines the warm aromas of apple, toffee and honey with sweet marzipan and a lightly tangy orange marmalade note. The palate is fresh and soft; pear, creamy peach and pineapple are followed by a light demerara sugar touch. The overall profile is sweet, fruity and smoke-free.
How should it be served, and what food does it pair with?
It can be enjoyed neat, with a few drops of water, or on ice; its soft character also suits those new to whisky. Its fruity, sweet character pairs well with apple or peach desserts, mature cheeses and roasted almonds.

- Palate
- Fresh and soft; pear, creamy peach, pineapple and a hint of brown sugar.
- Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
- Keep wine bottles on their side and spirits upright.
- Serve white/rosé and sparkling wine at 6–12°C, and reds at 16–18°C.
- Keep opened bottles closed; drink wine within a few days of opening.

An age check (18+) is carried out on delivery. Our Famagusta branch is open every day 09:00–00:00, and our Bafra branch 09:00–02:00 (until 00:00 on Mondays).
