Lunazul Tequila Blanco

Lunazul Blanco is an unaged tequila blanco at 40% ABV made from 100% blue Weber agave at Tierra de Agaves, from the Lunazul brand within Heaven Hill's portfolio. The brand highlights a family tradition built on a long line of master tequila-makers (maestro tequilero). Tequilas in the blanco class are bottled without oak ageing, so agave's own flavour reaches the glass without cask influence.

What does Lunazul Blanco taste like?

Its refreshing, fruity aroma combines tropical fruit and apple notes with a distinct salinity and citrus. On the palate it's soft and balanced; a peppery start is followed by ripe fruit tones, giving way to vibrant citrus and a light touch of vanilla. As it's not cask-rested, it's crystal clear and the agave's natural character takes centre stage.

How is it served?

The producer particularly recommends using it in fresh, citrus-forward cocktails such as a spicy Margarita. It can also be drunk chilled neat or as a shot with salt and lemon.
