Igorow Vodka

Igorow Vodka is a 37.5% ABV vodka produced in Germany. It is sold in 70cl bottles at retailers in European countries such as Romania and Austria.

Under EU rules, vodka must have an alcohol content of at least 37.5%; Igorow is bottled at this lower limit. Made by distilling and filtering ethyl alcohol of agricultural origin and diluting it with pure water, this style of vodka aims for a clean, neutral taste rather than a pronounced aroma.

What does 37.5% ABV mean?

Slightly lighter than 40% vodkas, this strength gives the vodka a softer perceived character. For this reason, this type of vodka is particularly favoured in mixes prepared with fruit juices, tonic and carbonated drinks.

How is it served, and what food does it pair with?

It can be chilled in the freezer and drunk neat in small glasses, or served as a long drink with ice, orange juice, tonic or ginger ale. It pairs well with meze platters, salted fish and seafood, and nuts.
