Glenfiddich Malt Master's Edition is a no-age-statement, 43% ABV single malt Scotch whisky produced by the Glenfiddich Distillery, owned by William Grant & Sons, in Speyside. It is presented as Glenfiddich's first whisky to undergo a double maturation in two different casks.
How is Malt Master's Edition made?
The whisky was created by Glenfiddich's Malt Master, Brian Kinsman. It first matures in traditional oak casks, then completes its maturation in sherry casks from Spain's Jerez region. The sherry finish carries the distillery's light, fruity Speyside character to a richer, rounder and more layered profile; red-fruit and nutty tones become more pronounced.
What does Glenfiddich Malt Master's Edition taste like?
The nose is clean and elegant: light almond, mint leaf, basil and tarragon; behind them, baked apple, candied cherry and roasted nuts. The palate opens with mint and tangerine, followed by muscat grape, baked peach, fruit cake, plum and a light oak grip. The finish is long and full of ripe fruit.
How should it be served, and what does it pair with?
It is recommended neat or with a few drops of water. Its sherry-led fruity character pairs well with mature cheeses, nuts and fruit desserts.

- Palate

- Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
- Keep wine bottles on their side and spirits upright.
- Serve white/rosé and sparkling wine at 6–12°C, and reds at 16–18°C.
- Keep opened bottles closed; drink wine within a few days of opening.
