Glenfiddich 18 Year Old is a single malt Scotch whisky from the Glenfiddich Distillery in Speyside, matured for at least 18 years in bourbon and oloroso sherry casks and bottled at 40% ABV. It has been one of the brand's classics since the mid-1990s.
What kind of whisky is it?
Glenfiddich's fruity, elegant character gains a fuller, deeper structure thanks to the oloroso sherry casks. It is soft yet full of character on the palate; dried-fruit and spice notes come from the sherry cask, while its pronounced weight is a trace of the distillery's traditional production. It is smoke-free.
What does Glenfiddich 18 Year Old taste like?
The nose shows ripe orchard fruit, baked apple and oak; dried fig, hazelnut praline, orange marmalade and tea leaf accompany it, with cigar box and fruit cake sensed behind them. The palate offers dried fruit, candied orange peel and date.
How should it be served?
It is recommended neat or with a few drops of water, in a tulip-shaped tasting glass; it suits after-dinner sipping.
What food does it pair with?
Its dried-fruit, nutty character pairs well with mature cheeses, roasted nuts and dark chocolate desserts.

- Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
- Keep wine bottles on their side and spirits upright.
- Serve white/rosé and sparkling wine at 6–12°C, and reds at 16–18°C.
- Keep opened bottles closed; drink wine within a few days of opening.
