Beluga Gold Line is a 40% ABV top-tier vodka from Beluga, a brand born at the Mariinsk distillery in Siberia, Russia. Every bottle carries a unique serial number and is sealed with a wax seal that is broken open using the accompanying special hammer.
What sets Beluga Gold Line apart?
The producer states that Gold Line rests for 90 days before bottling, three times longer than the 30-day rest given to the brand's standard vodka, Beluga Noble. The vodka is made with artesian spring water and undergoes a precise filtration process. The bottle is presented in a leather-covered box together with a small hammer with a brush at one end. When the wax seal is broken with the hammer, a gold-coloured wire cage underneath is revealed; this opening ritual is one of the product's best-known features.
What does Beluga Gold Line taste like?
The producer describes Gold Line as crystal clear, creamy and balanced. A soft, creamy texture stands out on the palate, setting it apart from the standard range in taste, texture and aroma.
How is it served?
It can be drunk neat and well chilled. The producer's signature serve is a classic Martini; a Beluga Caviar Martini served with caviar is also among the special serves recommended by the brand.
What does Beluga Gold Line pair with?
The brand traditionally recommends its vodkas with caviar. Served cold, Gold Line also pairs well with smoked fish and seafood, as well as platters of pickles and cold hors d'oeuvres.
