Russian Standard Jewellery Edition is a limited collector's bottle of Russian Standard, the 40% ABV Russian wheat vodka produced in St Petersburg. Following the brand's recipe used since 1998, the vodka is made with winter wheat and the glacial water of Lake Ladoga. This edition draws on Russian jewellery-making tradition, its label featuring images of jewellery crafted exclusively in Russia. The brand is now part of the Roust group's portfolio.
What does Russian Standard Jewellery Edition taste like?
According to tasting notes relayed by retailers, it is a clean, lively vodka, offering a neutral grain character and a smooth mouthfeel, with a dry finish.
How is it served?
Drinking it neat and well chilled in small glasses is the most classic method. Its clean structure means it can also be readily used in simple cocktails such as the Vodka Martini or tonic-based long drinks. Its decorative bottle also makes it a popular choice for gifts and collections.
What food does it pair with?
The classic vodka accompaniments of Russian cuisine, caviar, smoked fish, herring and pickles, all pair well with this vodka. Its dry finish balances the salty, tangy flavours of cold meze platters.
