Tekirdağ Rakısı Mavi is a 45% ABV raki sold under the Tekirdağ Rakısı brand by Mey|Diageo, distilled in copper raki stills from 100% fresh-grape suma. Suma obtained from carefully selected fresh grapes is distilled with quality aniseed seeds using traditional methods.

The story of Tekirdağ Rakısı

Tekirdağ Rakısı officially launched in 2000 and is positioned by the producer as a 100% fresh-grape raki. The brand now has different expressions such as the Gold Series, No 10 and the Trakya Series; the classic Tekirdağ Rakısı is known for its easy-drinking style and balanced aniseed aroma. The brand's owner, Mey İçki, has been part of Diageo since 2011.

What does it taste like?

How is it served?

Raki is poured into the glass first, followed by cold water; it turns milky white when water is added. The water ratio is adjusted to personal preference, with the common choice ranging from one-to-one to one-to-two. Those who want ice can add it last.
