Moët & Chandon Ice Impérial Rosé is presented as the first rosé Champagne created specifically to be drunk over ice, a 12.5% ABV demi-sec (off-dry) Champagne. Pinot Noir forms the majority of the blend for fruit concentration; Meunier adds fullness and harmony, while Chardonnay contributes a fresh finish. Reserve wines make up 20–30% of the blend, with a dosage of 38 grams per litre.
What does Ice Impérial Rosé taste like?
It has a lively pink colour with golden reflections. The nose leads with red fruit and cherry — particularly sour cherry, cranberry and lingonberry — followed by juicy summer fruits such as fig and nectarine, and an appetising note reminiscent of pomegranate syrup. On the palate, a sweetness reminiscent of forest fruit gradually lightens; fruit and freshness are balanced. The finish is refreshing, with the sweet-bitter note of pink grapefruit.
How should it be served?
It is designed to be served over ice cubes in a large glass. Adding a few strawberries or raspberries, a slice of grapefruit or a mint leaf is a common way to present it. It is a comfortable choice for open-air summer gatherings and celebrations.
What food does it pair with?
Its red-fruit character pairs very well with strawberry, raspberry and cherry-based desserts. Fresh fruit platters and green, fruity summer salads can also accompany this iced rosé Champagne.
