Kah Extra Añejo is the most mature tequila of the Kah brand, made from 100% blue Weber agave and aged for a long period in oak casks. Extra añejo tequilas are legally required to spend at least three years in cask; this Kah release is also presented in the brand's hand-painted, Día de los Muertos-inspired skull bottle.
What does Kah Extra Añejo taste like?
On the nose, intense caramel, toasted oak, vanilla pod and dark chocolate stand out. On the palate it's silky and full-bodied; layers of buttery confectionery, toasted nuts, baking spices and dried fruit unfold. The finish is long and warm, leaving traces of oak, cinnamon and cocoa. The long time in cask gives it a dark amber colour and a depth reminiscent of whisky.
How is it served?
It's recommended to sip it slowly, neat, from a snifter or tumbler glass. A few drops of water can open up hidden aromas. If used in a cocktail, tequila-based takes on spirit-forward classics such as the Manhattan can be considered.
Which foods does it pair with?
Dark chocolate and espresso support the tequila's cocoa and toasted notes. Mature cheeses such as Gouda and Pecorino, along with roasted nuts, are also a good accompaniment after a meal.

- Keep wine bottles on their side and spirits upright.
- Serve white/rosé and sparkling wine at 6–12°C, and reds at 16–18°C.
- Keep opened bottles closed; drink wine within a few days of opening.
