Gorlovka Vodka

Gorlovka Vodka is produced by Sema İçkileri, known as Northern Cyprus's oldest drinks factory. As a domestic brand made in the TRNC, it is sold on the island and in some Turkish markets abroad.

Who produces Gorlovka Vodka?

Sema İçkileri was founded in 1975 and today produces a range of more than 100 alcoholic and non-alcoholic products. Alongside Gorlovka Vodka, the company's portfolio includes rakı brands such as Sema Rakı, Şıra Rakı and Nemrut Rakı, brandies such as 81 Cyprus Brandy and Salamis Brandy, gin, fruit syrups, carbonated drinks, and Aqua Fresh brand drinking water. The company markets Gorlovka under the slogan "the true spirit of vodka".

How is it served?

As a vodka, it can be drunk well chilled, neat, over ice, or used in cocktails. It forms a suitable base for long drinks such as vodka and tonic, vodka and soda, and vodka with fruit juice, as well as a clean, simple base for citrus-based cocktails.

What does Gorlovka Vodka pair with?

Served cold, the vodka forms a classic match with the staples of Cypriot tables, including meze platters, halloumi, smoked fish and seafood. Salted nuts are also a frequently chosen accompaniment to the plain vodka.
