Baileys Strawberries & Cream

Baileys Strawberries & Cream is a 17% ABV Irish cream liqueur in which ripe strawberry and vanilla aromas meet Baileys Original Irish Cream. It is one of the fruit varieties Diageo's Baileys brand offers in limited editions; its pink colour easily sets it apart from the rest of the range.

What does Baileys Strawberries & Cream taste like?

According to the producer's recipe, the liqueur combines the sweet fruitiness of ripe strawberry with vanilla, within Baileys' creamy texture. On the nose, strawberry and vanilla are pronounced; on the palate, strawberry and vanilla come first, followed by a light trace of Irish whiskey in the background. Its taste has a soft, round structure reminiscent of the strawberries-and-cream dessert it is named after.

How is it served?

Drinking it well chilled, neat over ice, is the easiest option. It can be used in milkshake-style creamy cocktails or in cold coffee drinks to add fruity colour and flavour. As it contains cream, it can curdle when mixed with acidic fruit juices.

What desserts does it pair with?

Among Baileys' own recipe suggestions are desserts such as cupcake frosting, mousse and strawberry cake. It is a fitting companion alongside fresh strawberry cakes, fruit tarts and vanilla ice cream; it also creates a balanced taste with white or milk chocolate desserts.
