Stock Triple Sec

Stock Triple Sec is a 38% ABV clear orange liqueur made by the Stock brand from sweet and bitter orange peels. Triple sec is a style dating back to 19th-century France, and one of the world's most widely used cocktail liqueurs. Stock's triple sec is produced by infusing orange peels in alcohol and then distilling them, finished with orange blossom aroma.

What does Stock Triple Sec taste like?

Sweet orange notes dominate the nose, joined by lemon and lime tones. The producer states that the dominant aroma comes from the orange peel distillate, followed by more delicate floral notes. On the palate, sweet orange and bitter orange peel are balanced, with a silky texture. The finish is clean and refreshing, leaving orange peel and a light citrus bitterness for a while.

How is it served?

It is one of the core ingredients of classic cocktails such as margarita, Cosmopolitan, Sidecar and Long Island Iced Tea. It can also be drunk neat or over ice; lengthened with soda, it becomes a refreshing citrus drink. It is also used as a flavouring in desserts, such as crêpes and fruit salads.

What food does it pair with?

Its orange character makes a classic pairing with dark chocolate and chocolate desserts. It also suits fruit tarts, orange cheesecake and crème brûlée.
