Saki Rakı Gold Göbek is the heart-cut raki of the Saki brand, produced by Sezer Holding at its facilities in the Salihli Organized Industrial Zone, Manisa. The name "göbek" (heart) refers to the middle section of the raki that flows from the still during distillation, considered the most valuable, once the first and last fractions are separated out. Gold Göbek is positioned as the most accessible entry-level expression in Saki's range.

About the Saki brand

Alongside Saki, Sezer Holding's raki portfolio also includes the Kallavi and Sade brands. The Saki range is known for premium rakis such as De Lux, Gurme, Uludağ and Premium, distinguished by their resting time and filtration count. Many of the brand's rakis are stated to use Çeşme aniseed and contain no added sugar.

How is it served?

In keeping with raki tradition, it is drunk in a narrow-waisted glass, raki poured first, then cold water; it turns milky white when water is added. Ice is added last. Those who prefer to drink it neat can chill it well and keep a glass of cold water alongside.

What food does it pair with?

It pairs with the classic raki table's companions: white cheese and melon, olive-oil herbs, yoghurt-based mezes, grilled fish and seafood.
