Larios 12 Premium Gin Mediterránea is a 40% ABV premium gin from Spain's long-established gin brand Larios. It takes its name from the twelve botanicals in its recipe and carries a pronounced citrus character built on Mediterranean citrus fruits; the brand is today part of the Suntory Global Spirits portfolio.
Which botanicals are in Larios 12?
The twelve botanicals consist of wild juniper, nutmeg, angelica root and coriander, alongside Mediterranean lemon, orange, tangerine, mandarin, clementine, grapefruit, lime and orange blossom. The botanicals are distilled five times. This citrus-forward recipe makes the gin fruitier and more floral than classic London Drys.
What does Larios 12 taste like?
Its nose is lively and aromatic; intense citrus, orange blossom, coriander and fresh herbs stand out. On the palate, a herbal, spiced structure is felt, with citrus peel, flower and cardamom in every form; a light sweetness completes the balance. On the finish, coriander and juniper appear, followed finally by fresh citrus.
How should it be served?
A gin and tonic served in a wide glass, made with plenty of ice, tonic and a slice or peel of orange, is this gin's best-known serve. It also suits citrus-forward cocktails such as Gimlet.
Which dishes does it pair with?
Its citrus-forward structure suits seafood, Mediterranean salads and light chicken dishes.

- Keep wine bottles on their side and spirits upright.
- Serve white/rosé and sparkling wine at 6–12°C, and reds at 16–18°C.
- Keep opened bottles closed; drink wine within a few days of opening.
