Dr. Loosen Dr. L Riesling Dry is a dry-style Riesling white wine made by Loosen Bros. in Germany's Mosel region. Loosen Bros. is a joint venture between Ernst Loosen, owner of the renowned Dr. Loosen estate, and his brother Thomas Loosen.

How is Dr. L Riesling Dry made?

The grapes come from the steep, slate-soiled vineyards of contracted growers who work closely with the Loosen brothers along the Mosel River valley. The wine is made by the same team that produces the Dr. Loosen estate's wines. The grapes are pressed immediately, naturally clarified and fermented in stainless steel tanks; malolactic fermentation is not applied. This preserves Riesling's crisp acidity and fruit purity. Dr. L Riesling Dry is the dry counterpart of the brand's off-dry Dr. L Riesling.

What does Dr. L Riesling Dry taste like?

On the nose, delicate white floral aromas are accompanied by a grassy, lightly herbaceous edge. On the palate it offers a balanced, rounded structure with lively acidity and bright fruit flavours. Its finish is refreshing, leaving a light, crisp impression.

How is it served?

It should be served chilled. The producer describes this wine as an exceptionally food-versatile Riesling.
