Dead Man's Fingers Coffee is a coffee-inspired take on the brand's spiced rum: a flavoured rum at 37.5% ABV, made with Caribbean rums, spices and natural coffee flavour. Born at the Rum & Crab Shack seafood restaurant in St Ives, Cornwall, England, the Dead Man's Fingers brand is today part of the Halewood group.
What does Dead Man's Fingers Coffee taste like?
Fruity coffee, chocolate, orange, rosemary and burnt sugar stand out on the nose. On the palate, notes familiar from the original Spiced Rum, such as vanilla, raisin, saffron cake and Pedro Ximénez ice cream, combine with chocolate, coffee, clove and cumin seed. It offers a less sweet, more rum-forward coffee profile than liqueurs.
How is it served?
It can be drunk neat or over ice after a meal; its coffee and rum character also stands out in cocktails. A long drink with cola or coffee cocktails made with espresso are good options.
Which desserts does it pair with?
Its coffee and chocolate notes form a natural match with desserts such as tiramisu, brownies and chocolate mousse. Roasted hazelnuts and almonds are also a simple accompaniment.

- Keep wine bottles on their side and spirits upright.
- Serve white/rosé and sparkling wine at 6–12°C, and reds at 16–18°C.
