Wenneker Strawberry is a 15% ABV strawberry liqueur made by the Dutch company Wenneker from concentrated strawberry juice and traditional strawberry extract. Operating in Roosendaal since 1693 and still a family company, Wenneker is known for its wide range of fruit liqueurs. The liqueur's bright strawberry-red colour reflects the character of the fruit inside at first glance.

What does Wenneker Strawberry taste like?

Its taste is defined by two components, concentrated strawberry juice and strawberry extract, which bring out the fruit's sweet, juicy side. Its lower ABV makes it smooth and easy-drinking, carrying the strawberry flavour without overpowering it. It is a simple choice for those seeking a sweet, fruity and easy-drinking liqueur.

How is it served?

The producer recommends drinking this liqueur neat, pouring it over ice cream, or using it in desserts. It is a versatile ingredient in cocktails: it can be combined with sparkling wine, added to daiquiri-style fruity mixes or lemonade-based long drinks. Served with ice and well chilled, the fruit taste feels fresher.

What food does it pair with?

Vanilla ice cream, pavlova, cheesecake and fresh fruit cakes are desserts that pair well with Wenneker Strawberry. Thanks to the well-known pairing of strawberry and chocolate, it also offers a balanced accompaniment to dark chocolate desserts.
