Mozart White Chocolate is a 15% ABV white chocolate cream liqueur made by Mozart Distillerie in Salzburg, Austria. Vanilla and caramel are added to its cocoa-butter- and cream-based recipe; the producer describes the liqueur as made only with natural ingredients and gluten-free.
What does Mozart White Chocolate taste like?
The milk-white, lightly translucent liqueur has a delicate, creamy nose; vanilla, white chocolate, cream and a light caramel note stand out. On the palate, the round texture of the cocoa butter combines with sweet vanilla and soft caramel. The finish is long, soft and balanced; chocolate and vanilla fade away together.
How is it served?
It is best drunk lightly chilled, neat or over ice. It can also be used as a sweetener added to coffee varieties, hot chocolate or ice cream.
What food does it pair with?
Its light sweetness pairs well with dairy- and fruit-based desserts: panna cotta, vanilla custard or a fresh forest fruit salad make a good match. It can also be served after dinner with desserts such as lemon tart, almond biscuits or crêpes with caramel sauce.
