Merrys Strawberry is a 17% ABV Irish cream liqueur combining Irish cream and aged Irish whiskey with ripe strawberry aroma. Merrys liqueurs are produced in Clonmel, in Ireland's County Tipperary, with fresh cream from the world-renowned Golden Vale dairy region. The brand's roots trace back to Merry's Tavern in Dungarvan in 1868.
How is it made?
According to the producer, the cream used comes from cows grazing in the pastures of Tipperary and reaches the facility within twelve hours of leaving the farm gate. This fresh cream is blended with aged Irish whiskey and natural flavours.
What does Merrys Strawberry taste like?
The producer describes this liqueur as the taste of summer and sunshine: the sweetness of ripe strawberries combines with fresh dairy cream. The strawberry-and-cream pairing offers a soft, fruity drink reminiscent of the classic strawberries-and-cream dessert.
How is it served?
It can be drunk well chilled or neat over ice. It can also be used in creamy and fruity cocktails, or drizzled over ice cream. As a cream liqueur, it should be kept in the fridge once opened.
What desserts does it pair with?
The strawberry and cream notes make a natural match with fruity desserts, strawberry cake, pavlova and cheesecake. White or milk chocolate desserts are also good companions alongside a chilled glass.

- Keep wine bottles on their side and spirits upright.
- Serve white/rosé and sparkling wine at 6–12°C, and reds at 16–18°C.
- Keep opened bottles closed; drink wine within a few days of opening.
