Lokal Rakı Derya Kuzusu is a range of 45% ABV rakis produced in Turkey by Deva İçecek, made from 100% fresh-grape suma. Taking its name from the sailors' expression "deniz kuzusu" ("lamb of the sea", referring to dolphins), the range references the raki-and-fish table tradition with its wave- and fish-scale-motif bottle.
What's in the Derya Kuzusu range?
The range comprises three different rakis: Derya Kuzusu 5, distilled five times from Bornova Misket grapes; the triple-distilled Derya Kuzusu Göbek; and Derya Kuzusu Olgunlaşmış Hasat, double-distilled from Emir and Sultana grapes. The producer states no agricultural ethyl alcohol or sugar is added to the rakis in the range.
How is it served?
Chilled, it can be drunk in a narrow-waisted raki glass with cold water, or neat. When water is added it turns milky white; ice is added last. The water ratio is adjusted to personal taste.
What food does it pair with?
As its bottle suggests, its most natural companion is fish: grilled or pan-fried fish, seafood and Aegean-Mediterranean mezes. The classic raki table built around white cheese and melon is also a fitting choice.

- Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
- Keep wine bottles on their side and spirits upright.
- Serve white/rosé and sparkling wine at 6–12°C, and reds at 16–18°C.
- Keep opened bottles closed; drink wine within a few days of opening.

An age check (18+) is carried out on delivery. Our Famagusta branch is open every day 09:00–00:00, and our Bafra branch 09:00–02:00 (until 00:00 on Mondays).
