Coppa Cocktails Mai Tai is a 10% ABV, ready-to-drink bottled cocktail inspired by the tropical Mai Tai recipe of light and dark rum, triple sec, amaretto, orange and lime juice. With roots in 1940s California tiki bars, this classic sits within Coppa's rum-based, fruity range. Coppa Mai Tai won silver at the 2021 San Francisco World Spirits Competition.
What does Coppa Mai Tai taste like?
According to the producer's description, it has a layered taste: citrus brightness combines with a nutty-almond depth from the amaretto. Exotic fruit tones dominate. The ingredient list includes rum, lime and orange juice concentrates, sugar and natural flavours; the product is vegan.
How is it served?
It is recommended poured into a short rocks glass full of ice, garnished with lime and fresh mint. Chilling the bottle before serving is advised; an opened bottle should be stored in a cool place.
What does Coppa Mai Tai pair with?
Its tropical, lightly almond-tinged character pairs well with summer dishes such as barbecue and grilled chicken, and with pineapple or tropical fruit desserts.
