Alcohol Delivery in Nicosia (Lefkoşa)

Nicosia (Lefkoşa) is the capital of North Cyprus, in the middle of the island at the western edge of the Mesarya (Mesaoria) plain. With its ministries, banks, two large private universities and easy reach of Ercan Airport, it's the island's business centre. Jastin Off Licence's branches are in the Bafra Tourism Zone (İskele) and Famagusta, and we make confirmed deliveries to Nicosia: about 60 km from Famagusta and about 65–70 km from Bafra.

Typical requests from Nicosia

Office and corporate gifts

New Year presents, client gift packs before the holidays, a new office opening. These orders usually ask for dozens of bottles of the same thing: a blended whisky, sparkling wine or a liqueur. Discussing stock and quantity on WhatsApp a few days ahead makes things easier. Include invoicing details and who will receive the delivery with your order.

Dinner parties at home

From flats in Dereboyu and Köşklüçiftlik and detached houses in Hamitköy and Gönyeli, we get requests for wine and raki for dinners, and gin and tonic supplies for parties. Here the wine, gin and tonic categories lead the way.

University districts

We also take orders from students living around Near East University and Cyprus International University towards Haspolat. We check age (18+) on delivery and may ask for ID.

The walled city and narrow streets

Inside the walls, around the Selimiye Mosque and the Büyük Han, vehicles may not be able to get through the narrow streets. If you live at an address like that, we can suggest meeting at a well-known spot such as the Kyrenia Gate.

Ercan Airport and shopping on the way

Ercan Airport is near the main road between Nicosia and Famagusta. Some customers call into our branch on the way back from a holiday in Bafra or İskele, or into the Famagusta branch on the way in. If you live in Nicosia and head to the east coast for the weekend, you can also have your order delivered straight to the villa or hotel you're going to. That way you don't wait for a long-distance delivery and the drinks are there when you arrive. If you're taking bottles abroad after flying out, check your destination's customs rules with official sources; UK allowances are on GOV.UK, and our guide to duty-free allowances covers other countries.

Nicosia's nightlife centres on venues in Dereboyu and the walled city. If you'd rather get together at home, an order placed in advance is often more relaxing than heading out to shop at midnight. For a celebration or party, we can plan champagne, liqueurs and a mixer set the day before.
